What is vanity? We are all so unused to putting ourselves first that we see it as vanity. This will be cleared up in this episode as Shalinda and Natalie talk to Frankie Smith, an artist that specializes in brows, micropigmentation, and other cosmetic procedures that elevates one's confidence.
This episode is where Frankie shares her story as someone with Crohn's disease, but is also an entrepreneur. She is the CEO of Cosmetica and part of an amazing non-profit organization, Angels Ink. Natalie, Shalinda, and Frankie all share their common experiences in battling a chronic illness while running a business and how this illness led them to where they are today.
Gone are the days when women pull each other down. We are in the era of lifting each other up. Frankie does not only run a business but also is part of the Angels Ink foundation. This group of artists is a close-knit group of friends sharing a common goal, helping cancer patients or people with scars feel more comfortable in their own skin with the help of tattoos.
The Angels Ink is looking for volunteers and you can get in touch with them through their website or connect with Frankie on Instagram @studiocosmetica, Facebook, or visit her website.
