Who doesn’t like a wedding dress that fits you like a glove and makes you feel great?
Weddings are a huge part of most people’s lives and as much as possible, they want it to be unique and momentous. Wedding gowns are one of the main things a bride stresses about. It may be because they can’t find the right style or even the right size. Most shops carry sample sizes and there is a large percentage of women who are left uncatered. This is why Rosie Red started her business of creating ethereal wedding dresses.
Rosie is a fashion designer from the UK and she had pieces worn by Helena Bonham Carter, Billie Piper, and Sharlene Hector of Basement Jaxx. In this episode, Natalie and Rosie talk about how Rosie Red Corsetry came about and how having a chronic illness (Type 1 Diabetes) affected her in accomplishing her wildest dreams (i.e a 4-page spread in vanity fair!). Since both of them have a chronic disease, they discuss how they value life more and how they became braver in their businesses.
Listen to this episode to know what it’s like to be truly sick and successful in the creative world.
